About the Artist
My photography has evolved over the years from vacation, travel and family photos to decorative fine art images to hang in homes and offices.

I became interested in advancing my photographic abilities in the mid 1970’s when I was inspired by a love of history for the Civil War and by Matthew P. Brady’s photos of that war. When I visited Civil War battle sites, I began to create a photographic library of those sites in black and white and sepia tones. One of those photographs was awarded second place in a national contest sponsored by the United States Department of the Interior.  These photographic ventures to Civil War battle sites helped me to develop a philosophical approach of capturing the experience and adding dimension to my work.

I have always had a passion for art and creative expression. Through encouragement of friends and family, I was inspired to pursue photography as an art form.

My extensive photographic library includes botanical, animals, seasons in the Northeast, and scenes of South Florida and the Caribbean. These photographs are used as wall décor and signed originals are available on canvas or premium archival photo paper in color, sepia tone, or black and white.
My freelance work includes regular assignments for The Palm Beach Post (Residences, Notables, and Real Estate Weekend), and other commercial and fashion clients.
